We use current Ontario Dental Hygienists Association (ODHA) Fee Guide ,  which is 20-40 % lower than traditional  dental office/ Ontario Dental Association(ODA) fee guide

 

 

PACKAGE 1 - INFANT & TODDLER (Ages 0-2 years) - Non-Insured No Charge

Early and regular happy visits promote less anxiety, less cavities, and could prevent invasive and expensive treatment in the long term.

Up to 15 minutes of time*. 

PACKAGE 2 - CHILDREN & YOUTH (Ages 3-15 years) -from $74.00-132.07

Includes complete dental hygiene assessment, risk assessment for oral diseases, dental hygiene diagnosis and proposed treatment plan, one-on-one oral hygiene instruction, tartar/stain removal. *Application of Fluoride varnish (if required, based on individual client need) is extra and is not included in the package.

Up to 30 minutes of time*. 

PACKAGE 3 - TEENS & ADULTS (Ages 16+ years)

- from $132.07-250.00

Includes complete dental hygiene assessment, risk assessment for oral diseases, dental hygiene diagnosis and proposed treatment plan, one-on-one oral hygiene instruction, tartar/stain removal. Application of Fluoride varnish (if required, based on individual client need) is extra  and is not a standard procedure included in the package

Up to 60 minutes of time*

PACKAGE 4 - DENTAL HYGIENE SPECIFIC EXAM

 - $24.00

Includes complete dental hygiene assessment, risk assessment for oral diseases, dental hygiene diagnosis and proposed treatment plan, eligibility for whitening, evaluation of previous treatment.

PACKAGE 5 - DENTAL SEALANTS

- From $21.00+ each

First tooth in each quadrant $21

Additional tooth in each quadrant $11

Dental sealants provide extra protection for the grooved and pitted molars by providing a smooth surface to help block food and plaque from getting trapped in small pits and fissures to help prevent tooth decay (cavities). 

PACKAGE 6 -PROFESSIONAL WHITENING

- Wicked White at home starter kit-185.00 ( you need a qualifying consultation/free and complete payment prior to ordering a kit)

*The maximum amount of time that treatment will be provided before additional costs are incurred. Treatment is subject to individualized client care and need. 1 unit of time=10/15 minutes. Additional units of time for complicated cases are subject to additional fees as per the ODHA Fee Guide. Clients are informed of costs and procedures before treatment is rendered; “informed consent”. 

Payment is due when treatment is rendered. 

 

Option #1: Insured

Smart Dental Hygiene will submit claims on your behalf. All you have to do is ask them to submit your claims online, directly to your insurance carrier. This is good for you because you don’t have to worry about any paperwork or in some cases, even paying out-of-pocket for the service (except for the portion not covered by your benefit plan).
